Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

Chemicals, running cost, winter operation, sizing, lead time and seawater — straight answers to the questions clients actually ask.

Q01Do you really use no chemicals? Is it safe?
Only water, air and oxygen. The reactive species generated by plasma are delivered into the water as nanobubbles and revert to water within minutes. No chemical agents are added at any stage. Systems are currently running at more than 20 sites nationwide; had there been fish mortality or similar problems, those operations could not have continued.
Q02What does it cost to run after installation?
For the AnyNble-PRS750 running 24 hours a day, electricity comes to roughly KRW 1 million per month. Maintenance runs about 5–7% of the equipment purchase price per year, varying with site location and the number of units.
Q03Does it work in winter?
Winter operation is not a problem. While running, the water stays ice-free for roughly 250 m in front of the unit. Incheon Grand Park uses this to draw water for firefighting helicopters during winter wildfire season.Source: incheonin.com — coverage of winter firefighting-helicopter water intake at Incheon Grand Park (Korean)
Q04How is this different from conventional aeration?
From our earliest days we had to prove two things. First, that nanobubbles are actually produced — confirmed by test reports from national institutions. Second, what that does for water quality — and that we proved in the field, not the lab. We installed at sites where conventional methods had failed, demonstrated the improvement, and only then delivered. This is only possible if you can supply large volumes of nanobubbles reliably, 365 days a year.
Q05How many units does our site need?
Give us five things and we will size it. (1) Water volume. (2) Current water quality and inflow water quality. (3) Inflow rate — with volume this gives us retention time. (4) The site's main problem: algae, water grade, odour complaints. (5) Whether existing treatment facilities are in place.
Q06How long do manufacturing and installation take?
Manufacturing takes 30–60 days depending on quantity. If the electrical work is ready, installation takes one to two days.
Q07Does it work in seawater?
Songdo Central Park is a lake fed by West Sea seawater, and Jeju Ojo-ri is a coastal site. Operating both has confirmed that performance in seawater is in fact better.
Q08Can it prevent mortality in the high-temperature season?
Keeping bottom-layer dissolved oxygen above 10 mg/L structurally lowers mortality risk. Unlike surface aeration, nanobubbles carry oxygen all the way to the tank floor. Validated at olive-flounder farms in Jeju and Wando, with 50% better turbidity and a 30% higher survival rate. Installation is best completed before the summer heat arrives.
